Sandi Patty’s Yuletide Celebration coming to Georgetown

MILLSBORO – Mountaire Farms is proud to present Sandi Patty’s Yuletide Celebration 2009 at the Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. Accompanying "the voice" of Christian music will be members of the Mountaire Communion of Choirs. Advanced tickets for the event start at $49 and are available at http://www.crossroadcommunitychurch.net or by phone at (800)514-ETIX (3849).

According to Roger Marino, corporate community relations director, "We at Mountaire are extremely excited to introduce this memorable Delmarva Christmas event. What better way can we express our feelings for this glorious season and its music than to provide many talented performers from the Mountaire Communion of Choirs Contest the opportunity to musically support one of America’s great Christian entertainers in this internationally acclaimed concert?"

Ms. Patti, a five-time Grammy Award winner and the most-decorated female vocalist in contemporary music history with 39 Dove Awards, is simply known as "the voice" of Christian Music. Her name has become synonymous with the Christmas season as many of her arrangements are signature melodies in churches and homes while celebrating the birth of Jesus. On Nov. 27, the Sandi Patty Christmas LIVE tour makes its way to the Eastern Shore at the Crossroad Community Church, located at the intersection of Del. 404 and Stat Forest Road in Georgetown. This live event will feature some of Ms. Patti’s most recognizable Christmas anthems, including "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee," "Star of Bethlehem" and Sandi’s original version of "O Holy Night." With the support of a live band and the Mountaire Communion of Choirs, Sandi will welcome you into the Christmas season with her soaring vocals and fresh reminders of the powerful birth and life of Christ.

"I am grateful for the many opportunities God has given in my life and for how he has allowed me to spread my wings," said Sandi. "Singing is my way to tell my story of hope, life and love."

Tickets for Sandi Patty’s Yuletide Celebration 2009 start at $49 and are going fast. One may order by visiting http://www.crossroadcommunitychurch.net or by phone at 800-514-ETIX (3849).
