I went to the Camden Wyoming town hall meeting at the CR high school tonight, Thanks to the The Delaware State Police and the CR school district you guys are doing a great job. Well ,they wanted to talk about stranger danger and recent incidents that occurred in our area, Dating back to November. Alot of people showed up to the meeting. There were maybe close to a few hundred. Officials didnt expect to see that many concerned people show up.
It seemed like the State Police had really nothing to go on. Like they were at a stand still with there investigation. The State Police gave details on four seperate incidents, Which seemed like there was one or more persons that was going around to nearby developments and asking kids if they want a ride and if they want candy.
The meeting was great, alot of people showed up, Brushed up on old and new tips on how to keep your kids safe. It just seemed like people were more interested in the police telling them some info about the incidents,.
My intake on this subject, One of the incidents occured in a development next door to were three of my kids go to school. And two other incidents happened not even one minute down the road to where my kids live. And the other one happened where i go shopping everyday with my kids.
This guy or should i say persons, is looking to do something terrible if he or they havnt already. I think i speak for everyone when i say this, It gives me gut wrenching. I would feel real sorry for the victim if this guy or guys finally get ahold of any kid. Whoever is doing this is determined to get what they want. This has happened four times now they are trying to get somebody.
There were alot of questions to be asked at the meeting but since the State Police are still investigating, The State Police didnt want to go into detail im sure. On my way to the meeting I was thinking to myself this guy or guys might come to this meeting to, just to see what information the State Police have or whatever. I couldnt help but to look around, at everybody and say to myself , that might be him here that might be him there. Then again there were many concerned people worried about this whole ordeal.
Its looking like The State Police might think its sex offender, Not sure. To me its hard to tell, It could be anybody, But whoever it is has to live down in the South Magnolia area, Atleast.
My stress on the offender deal, The United States should of put monitors on all offenders instead of just putting them on your neighborhood drug dealer. House arrest?? Ankle bracelet?? And how come alot of offenders are out of prison anyways if they are High Risk.
It could be anybody, And since we are on the subject, Do the school disticts do background checks on bus drivers or older bus drivers. I would definetly have to check in on them. Well atleast check there driving records, Half the time you see busses flying down the road with a full load and Sometimes you cant even catch up to them to tell them to slow down. Ecspecially my kids bus driver. I want my kids to be 100% safe and protected when they are not in my care, When they get to school, The school should promise you 100% that your kids are safe there and If the kids ride a bus it should be mandatory that the driver makes sure the kids get on the bus and make sure they are safe when they get off, and it should be a LAW. If kids ride a bus, the parent needs to be there when the kids get on the bus and be there when they get off. LAW THAT.!!!! The State makes sure Dover Downs is 100% protected and secure dont they, So nobody steals there money, They need to make sure our kids are that way too!!!!!
Like I said earlier, I speak for everyone on this subject ,,What if one of the victims was my daughter or any of my kids. And we dont usually have something like this going on around here.
This is very scary, I have to worry about my kids enough as it is ,That is every parents nightmare. When every parent first have kids, Its one thing we worry about the most is somebody taking our kids. But its not just a nightmare anymore, THIS IS REAL. My message to whoever is doing this, DO NOT and Let me repeat that ,DO NOT, let me catch you in the process,.,
And I leave you with one last thought,,,The best defense we have right now is our community keeping our eyes and ears open. Hopefully we can catch whoever is doing this, We cant ignore this issue ,We cant wait till something happens to speak on it.
